I'm getting really antsy to post this. I've completed the drawing, theres prints coming to see me on Monday since I finished editing. Im not sure whats stopping me from posting the whole thing but it doesn't feel right yet. So, have a teaser. (Info on the inspiration below) There's only going to be FIFTEEN copies of the first run of this, and im not sure when I will ever print another batch. You can DM me since I still don't trust myself to keep up with an online store. "Nothing is personal" You mightve noticed this on the plank of wood leading into the bowels of this nightmare drama. It's because I grew sick of this wisdom from The Four Agreements being so useful in my life. It was and still is one of the deepest wisdoms in my life. But I was and still am sick of applying it. When will it ever be personal? Could it? Are we all truly just trapped in our own reality bubbles? You, merely a figment of my mind who will consume me, attack me or love me based on the whims of your survival preference? Or is there humanness, and other conscious things outside of my shell, my snow globe? This whole piece is an ode to that which pains me. And instead of trying to be some mystical big brother persona making love look cool, i decided to join the rabble and not protect anyone. It's the victimized perspectives of mine. The kind of logic untampered with by faith beyond reason. The kind of logic that has let go of the need to find something transcendent. The kind of logic that stops trying to put lipstick on a pig, and decides that's just what reality is - a hungry, carnivorous pig. I don't want to think or feel these ways. And I hope that this expression will help me. "Vivamus Moriendum Est" - let us live since we must die. A bold and faithful statement to make. I will enter despite the perils, because I will choose to sanctify life despite its unsavory features. It's placement on this piece is a perversion of that ethic. Or maybe, it's an expression of my disappointment or loss of heart in such a statement. Excited to see the rest?

It's not what I wanted. It's not what I want. But most of the time lately, anything I write isn't anyway. -- The prose that came to me when this piece had its inception: "My heart is breaking and my raft is sinking. It's time to go live underwater. Even if it scars my heart, I just want to see the dark" It was an effort to strive against the conditioning to be a person who I think I am supposed to be - this piece is an inversion of and a spitting on of any and all "wisdom" I've collected and tried to put to use in my life. I'm sick of feeling like I must be a big brother to reality. It's a goof of an ego trip, and yet it is on pain of something far worse than death that I fear giving it up. -- The four agreements says to take nothing personally. Well personally, I'm sick of that advice being useful. When can it be personal? Is there really anyone else even out there? I can't tell whether it'd be worse or better if there were. Built on the idea that we all come a variety of stories, thoughts and beliefs that are not a perfect foundation for faith, and still, faith prospers in us. Not the kind that's tied to a religion. Faith in the greatest sense. Betting on the world, the self, humans and nature. Faith is found in our walk. The theories we form about people, about how things work, made tangible in our act. A piece I made, that became the inspiration for that super graphic one you've seen me post progress shots of. This is the portal shape (Tehom's Gate/Illusion Peak Arch) that I used for the top of Acta est Fabula. It appears as though the top of the arch curves upward, when in reality, the lines are completely straight with no dip. I hope you enjoy

My first mandala in progress. Preparing for a self ceremony this evening. Going to be focusing on letting go, forgiveness, balance and reintegration of self. The past few months have been some of the most painful and desolate I've spent. And I've done a lot in them. But it seems like the more I press forward, the harder it gets to press forward. I'm weary. And wanting some peace. Praying that this evening will be one of the things I need to be able to move forward fluidly and without so much strife. Cheers..

Latest progress on "Acta est Fabula" @emorfik has been such a large part of the frequencies filling my head and helping me channel all this pain into beautiful art. I call him a "rage alchemist" 😄 I'm somewhere between 100-200 hours into this piece, and I expect probably another 100 before I'm done. It's only 11x14", but I've taken so much time and care and carefulness in the details and design of this. And spent a lot of time crying and bawling and even making new pieces that come about and ask to be made as im working my way through this meatgrinder hellscape. I am hoping and trusting that when this is done, there will be a great relief in me. The last few months... actually, since October, have been spent going to my depths and uncovering, dancing with and feeling with emotions I never thought could have been there. I've learned so much. And destabilized so much. And forgotten it and remembered and fell apart again and again. And though I've taken a few detours and disrupted my process a number of times, I am recognizing the importance of completing this component of the Great Work, and so I have been putting whatever energy I can muster into finishing this. I've been so gutted lately, it's been near impossible to get myself to do basic needs things, let alone work on anything else. My first Woodburn piece circa 2022

Circa 2007-2008. I guess I did have some drawing chops before 2020. Hah. This disrupts my story a bit... but at the same time, my ability to draw and express and imbue things with energy was nowhere what it is now. And that, came to me and out of me without any practice. It was an awakening of sorts.

The secret part of Symbol Map #0012 you didn't see... BLOOM IS COMING I tend to put things in and on the Symbol Map that only get delivered to the client. That is - if I ever make prints (with their permission), I like them to have something special, something more. Even when I make a personal original piece, I always put some kind of special mark on it AFTER I have scanned the file for print. That way, an original is not only a captured piece of time and energy, but also has some Easter eggs that can't be found elsewhere :) I have a few originals left for sale at this point. Delighted to have received this piece from @___vvitch____ "The Desire to be a good person is in and of itself evidence of that which we seek" We were speaking on the topic of worrying about whether or not oneself is sociopathic, in energetic terms "bad" or "evil" (If you pay attention to the implications of labels we use you'll find that most terms are used to describe people as either good or bad). I just got to the portion of One Piece where Nico Robin is a major focus, and her self value and self worth is played on and preyed on by the world government, as well as her own questions and doubts. This piece was made quite a while ago, and I didn't get to take it home the night it was gifted to me. Not until the night both self worth and Nico Robin got brought up in conversation. I turned it upside down as I often do to see if there were any relevant forms that gave it more contextual meaning - I've found this practice to be a gold mine of meaning, adding to what a piece's right side up form has to share. It's been a factor in many of the "psychic" moments I've had with people, and with Symbol Maps. If you've ever watched the show, you'll realize immediately that the upside down version looks strikingly similar to Nico Robin... What a coincidence 😉

The INCEPTION of Symbol Mapping - Part 1 -- I'll be sharing some more of this story over the next couple days... or maybe today 😄 This was what experientially proved to me the unbelievable power of symbols to dredge up the psychological and emotional depths of a person - the things that typically sat outside the conscious realm. This was an entry level sales role where it was hard to get people interested in being there, let alone showing up on time or participating. The class I worked with ended up hugging each other, and developing bonds that were beautiful - simply, human. The power I've seen in not only symbols but in the participative act of creating personal symbols that express a facet of someone's life has expanded so far since then... And I've even been able to curate it into a workable, transformational service. But it's not inherent to me or my skills. It's a human feature I've had the blessing to uncover.
